Ann Taylor is most likely my favorite clothing store. Let me say that up front. Now, as I perused their new merch today I spotted some crisp straight leg jeans. In case you don't watch What Not to Wear on TLC, straight leg jeans are a must have. But let's be realistic... these models are either outright skeletons or REALLY tall 7 year-olds. Check it out.

we took a trip to the moon last week. our pontiac spaceship was silver and with four rubber wheels. the ground was really salty and crusty... except for where two other "bright" moon-landers tried to drive their spaceship off the path despite the warning sign. we pushed them out then rode home barefoot with our muddy salty shoes in rear cargo.

Its all the craze...

It's all the craze of the blog world lately that Target will be carrying some beautiful goods by Liberty of London. I wouldn't normally hop on the blog bandwagon but this stuff is seriously awesome. Ack! And it's available only for a limited time! There's a million must haves!

One Month

There seems to be a running theme on my blog lately. Can you blame me? I was inspired by Making it Lovely (love the name Eleanor) to do a month-by-month photo of the Little Man. Here he is at one month.

puj tub test

Little Man had his first real bath today. I'm lucky enough to be an official product tester for a cool baby bath tub called the Puj Tub. His first bath was a success! He was totally content in his warm little seat.


My review:

• The light weight tub folds to make a nice little seat that fits right into the bathroom sink. I was mostly worried that the faucet would get in the way and that the baby would flail his arms up and smack his tiny hand on it. Turns out, the faucet wasn't that much in the way.
  
• Also, the tub drained nicely so there was never too much water in the bottom...just enough to cover his bum and belly.
  
• It really was great to be able to bathe him right in the sink instead of bending over the bath tub.
• We hang and store our tub on a hook behind the bathroom door...talk about a space saver!

There was some nice lighting in the kitchen today. I was smitten by the glowing color of this bottle of olive oil. Also, my plant is thriving next to the window. Happy Friday!

I've got a new man in my life. He's pretty high maintenance but definitely a keeper. Blogging will be minimal for a while. Happy new year!
