A package was left on our porch from Fannie May Candies. My first thought..."Is this the same Fannie May that lent money too loosely and started our economic implosion?"
Yep. Fannie May sent us a box of chocolates. I wonder how many people they sent chocolates to and how much money that adds up to be. Are they trying to get me to like them so I won't blame them for inadvertently ruining our economy?
I made ornaments for my our tree! Here is my best attempt at getting photos. The paper ornament came from here and the other ornament is actually a pin cushion!
Hey... it's the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway at Design Mom. I won a giveaway there once. It was awesome. So go enter, and don't be intimidated by the number of entries... woot!
I want to do our bedroom green! I love green if you didn't know. This photo will be my primary inspiration (thanks Molly). I can't wait! To start, I'll need a bed spread, pillows, curtains, paint, and a rug. Ohhhhhhh thats a pretty heafty start. Darn! I think I'll recover some throw pillows that I already have. I'll also paint something greenish onto my lamp shades. YAY!
Did you hear? It's Giveaway Day over at Sew Mama Sew. Our blog is hosting a giveaway (along with a billion others) but I'd have to say we're definitely giving away one of the best prizes. So check it out.
I hate Black Friday. I'm always so disgusted with the news clips of people racing through doors to get to the good deals. Of course they only show the really extreme videos, but still. Until this year I had never ventured out at 3:00 a.m. to get a good deal. What changed me you ask? We needed a washer and dryer badly! We took advantage of the incredible deal going on at Sears. We were home by 6:00 a.m.
