Story Time.....

So the other morning I decided to go for a brisk jog, and during my jog I think I almost got shot! Here is how it happened, I am running down the street, and off in the distance I see these two young African American individuals (a guy and girl) walking to high school. Well I am usually very cautious about running up behind people because I don't want to startle them. Wellllll..... the girl had turned around when I was about 40 feet away, I thought that was good enough, and I decided to forgo my usual sniffling and coughing so they can here me routine. So as I am passing them, on the guys side, he jumps back and starts to reach for his belt area! Now I am not saying he had a gun or anything, but should that really be your initial reaction! I apologized and kept running, and he kind of chuckled it off, and that is how I almost got shot.

OK since Kory is our anonymous poster, we are going to lift the ban and not moderate the comments, that are quite funny now that we know who was writing them. Kory you know we love ya.

Bonny! I'm afraid for your life now. Maybe you should invest in a kevlar vest for your morning jog! It would weigh a little more and might help yoru workout, huh?

P.S. what happened to Brooks's man-crush entry?

P.P.S. I responded to your question about the Mario game on my blog...

Garrett - That was Brooks' post. I don't run anymore! ha ha! Brooks' man crush post got deleted because my some anonymous was making anonymous comments making fun of brooks for being gay. turns out it was my brother in law being a stinker (rather funny though). I need to get brooks to re-post it cuz i thought it was hilarious.

haha, I thought that was a post by Bon at first too. But then I thought, "Decided to go for a brisk jog" thats not Bon! But a very crazy story. Did I tell you about that time when a cop gave me a can of pepper spray to carry when I run? I should really do that. We live near scary neighborhoods. Oh - we moved to Ogden and we live on 33rd street a few blocks west of Harrison. Its not bad but it is a basement of a seriously old house and it makes us smell like it all the time.
And, to respond to the rest of your comment on my page, I have definitely been thinking food storage lately. Except that frozen apples/sauce only last 6 months or so. I have also been thinking homemade, low-sugar, no preservative baby food (especially since I have always been very sensitive to preservatives so this kid has a chance too). Plus it was fun.
I looked at fabric yesterday for a little bit. It took me some time to find it on the website though. I have a few I think I really like but they don't match and I can't decide! I might have to give you a list and have you pick.

Brooks--Kevlar vest comment still applies. And you should post the man-crush post again...
