the bugs are back in town

Yes, bugs, not boys. For some reason I can't get the song "the boys are back in town" out of my head right now. Remember this post? I know some of you would rather not remember it. I'd definitely rather not remember. I had a nice chat with my neighbor last night about spiders and roaches and I just thought I'd remind all my bugless blog readers how lucky you are. I spotted a small-ish (small for Georgia but big for places like Utah) spider on our steps the other night, several caterpillars (harmless really) outside, dead roaches on the sidewalk (thank you pest control!), and several mystery bugs in the house. I'm so glad I have my bug catching buddy Zibby. I love it when he pounces on them!

it is that time of year again, and you are lucky you have zibby. our dog was scared of bugs so she was no help to the cause..

It is so funny that you posted about bugs because the other night in my friends basement I saw the weirdest bug ever. It was a mix between a spider and cockroach. It had 8 legs, long oval body, and 2 antennas that was twice as long as it's body. Crazy!!!

Okay, I hear ya about the bugs! Before moving to SG I had never seen a cockroach...amazing I know. But here they are all over in the summer! For that reason I would love a dog!

Ugh!! I hate all the nasty bugs here! We definitely have less at our house than we had there but there are still lots of them, spiders (huge ones) and roaches. I haven't seen a roach for a while actually, knock on wood!
