Milk & Sugar Muffins

I've been loving these muffins lately. I grew up eating them for breakfast but lately we've been eating them for an evening snack. You'll probably think this is weird unless you're one of my siblings, but you eat the muffins with milk poured over them and sprinkled with sugar. So good!
MILK & SUGAR MUFFINS

1 3/4 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup oil

Stir together dry ingredients. Beat the egg with the milk and oil. Make a hole in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the egg mixture. Stir until wet. Batter will be lumpy. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 min. Makes 8-10 muffins. Serve warm. Slice in half. Pour over with milk and sprinkle with sugar.

Love new recipes. I love pouring milk over things and eating them with a spoon. Mostly brownies and cake, but muffins will probably be next.

I will make them for my fam tonight, but not the milk thing.... just the sugar and yummy muffins.

Mmm. These look good, we make some like it in my family, but we call them vanilla muffins and eat them usually with strawberries and whipped cream.
The milk and sugar sounds sweet, I will have to try it sometime.

You definately have to eat these with milk and sugar! Don't leave out the milk! They are such a comfort food, and I have been dying to make hem myself. I think our mom uses half wheat, half white flour!
