Me 2008

This year I will:

Exercise...
regularly. Right now I'm not exercising at all...remember the me that ran the SLC marathon back in '05? I forgot about her. This year I'll get it together starting small at twice a week.

Move...
back to Utah. Enough said.

Establish...
an online store and blog for The Village Shop (with Molly).

Read...
more scriptures and church magazines.
Jesus The Christ (all of it this time).
lots of other leisure books (thats a post for another day).

Finish...
at least 3 of the 6ish quilts that I am in the middle of making.

Learn...
to play Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy on the piano (memorized). You can watch and listen here. I just can't get enough of this piece.

Make...
a new recipe for Sunday dinner every week (as time and money permit). Brooks and I were inspiried by Tara and Dov to try a new recipe each Sunday. We've done it once so far and it was great!

Great resolutions, you've inspired me to make my own.

A new recipe every Sunday is a great idea. That might be too much for me though. I was thinking more like once a month, but Sunday is a great day to try something new! Last Sunday I made sausage corn chowder, which he-who-must-not-be-named loves and I have never eaten or made. Yum!

The new recipe thing sounds like a good idea. I actually hate new recipes though. I like to try new things that somebody else has made but if I buy all the ingredients and take the time to cook something new and then it's gross, I'm so mad.

I am not much of a resolutions-type, but yours sound pretty good.

PS my bro wants to say hi when he gets done with his mission. Did he get a hold of you guys yet?
