I wasn't going to do this

I've seen this "Do You Remember When?" post on several friends' blogs. Well I've come up with my own version, sort of. Read on, you might be rewarded.

Leave a comment of a memory that you have of me, about me, something of you and I together, or anything! It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is most memorable.

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. Wait, now I'm curious what mean or embaressing things you might say. Ha ha ha. Lets not go there.

The person with the best most funnest, funniest, randomest, oddest, quirkiest, or sweetest memory gets a prize. We'll just see what the responses are and I'll award whoever or whatever I feel like. If you're a girl it will likely be a change purse hand crafted by moi. If you're a guy it will likely be something edible. So have at it!

Do you remember that summer in Bridgerland when we went to a party at Oakridge and we accidentally locked ourselves onto a balcony? That was weird.

Here's one: do you remember when we dressed up in '80s clothes to go see Footloose? Oh yeah, it hasn't happened yet. But it's gonna be funny!

Remember...I was your neighbor for a few months. We would chat outside our doors. Remember the bugs? I do...they are on my floor. AH!!

Do you remember when we were tiny and my mom and I lived in the duplex? You came to stay the night and as we drove up in the drive way my mom ran over a water snake? I don't remember if we were screaming or not but I have the picture to prove it happened!!!

Do you remember that one time you used Visine to put your contact in and your pupil dilated? You then had to go to the office Christmas luncheon with one dilated eye. I still laugh about that…. Only you Bonny….

I remember that we trained for a marathon together for most of a year! Sometimes I can't believe we made it. I remember one run when went down 1600 East forever in the fog and we had frost on our eyelashes and on your hair. And one run when we turned down the wrong road and it was a dead end about 10 minutes later and there were dogs loose in a yard that scared us and we flagged down a van and asked where to go and they told us there was a path along the canal so we took it and got all but lost in North Logan in the middle of the still foggy morning. I remember not wanting to run after that so we skipped for a mile or more. That was a very memorable year for me.

I remember you during Loaned Employee training, you always asked really good questions and we new you were a star! I loved how you were so honest and funny about your experiences with being a LE. Then you went off to Hawaii on your honeymoon and I remember being worried about you getting home because of some crazy storm. You made it home just fine. The you cut doggie I remember how excited you and Brooks were to get him or her. not sure which it is. Glad you are back at UW so we can make more memories together!

I'm definitely not going to win the prize here, because I only remember meeting you once, at your parents house while you were being summoned to the car . . . short introductions, but hey, we met!

Do you remember when people around Continental Apartments thought that the two of us were dating, because I was always sitting next to you on the couch, watching T.V., and waiting for Jentry to come home. Do you also remember when I wrote you a note and called you "a wee bonny lass" even though I had never actually seen you or even knew that it was indeed, very true. Good times.

I remember when you coached the ward basketball team and then we had an after party at Clint's grandma's house. I also remember when you saved my hide by teaching a RS lesson when my teacher flaked out. It truely taught me the importance of delegation and I remeber that a lot. I also remember how you and Scott used to chill on the couch and everybody thought you guys were dating because I was never home.

ha ha! jentry and scott! those memories made me laugh out loud.

OK I was trying to think of something good, after all I have known you your whole life. I remember when you got glasses, I remember when mom told you if didn't sit in your car seat, you would have to wear saggy diapers. I remember when mom said she was going on a diet, and you said "where to." I remember when you ran over the boulder in the Silver Bullet, I remember feeding you dinner at our Wellsville house when you would watch Pinkie for me, I remember talking to you on the phone because we both moved and we were lonely. I remember planning our fun blog, and planning and planning. I am sure there is more... Oh yeah sleeping in the fireworks booth with you and your drill team cronies. I was the adult. ha ha

Do you remember when we were at some random spring training baseball game in Tempe for spring break and this two year old little black boy came up to you and without saying a word leaned his head on your shoulder, which instigated our babysitting session for the night?

Brooklyn's party, when we were all in the living room, and zibbie was sad to miss the party so he put his paws and snout up on the window and just whimpered while we sang Happy Birthday.
#3
Coming home every night and knowing that Diego would NOT come in the house until he knocked on your door and gave you a hug.

#2
Spending like 2.5 hours putting together a movie for my primary class on your Sweet new iMovie, and spending the first hour just listening to all the cool sound effects.

#1
Shopping for and planting our container garden, which we loved so dearly, but only reaped one small tomato from. I also remember a week's worth of tomato sandwiches from the bishop's garden since ours was a dud.

Our Sophomore year, we would stay after school, locked in the dance room and work on our choreography and practice for the upcoming drill team try outs! We were so dedicated.

I remember the first time I met you. Brooks had come to Logan for an Aggie game and he stopped in with a bunch of guys after the game. There in the midst of these guys was a little blond talking about the game and telling us how she had invited herself to the game even though she didn't know Brooks. You made me smile that night, but more than that, you made Brooks smile and I will always remember that.

Hey my comment didn't show up! Thats okay because I just noticed that you said a sweet memory counts too. Remember when you sprained your ankle??? I came to your apt. and held your hand while you cried. Then the next day I helped you finish a project...a hat I think. Oh and I brought you food from that fast food mexican place. It was on of my nicer moments as your sister. Oh and remember your first year of college we sent packages to each other. We sent a kit-kat bar back of forth like 3 times. Makes up for all the fighting that we did growing up!!!

Ok my comment didn't show up, and I have now realized I have nothing to say. I am a sucky sister I guess. I am sure glad you said all those nice things about Ken though. That makes me feel like a good mom.

So I know you already did your drawing for "the best memories with bonny" but I was out of town and still wanted to share my memories with you...

#1 I remember when I first met you at Shadow Mountain the summer of 5th and 6th grade. You, Kay, and I became BFF from that point.

#2 In high school you were one of the only friends with an early curfew so James Harward always had to leave early to take you home.

#3 Finally I remember when you went tubing and I filmed you breaking your arm. Bishop Ricks and Kathy were going to take you to the hospital and you asked if I could come too...(so sweet!)

So many good memories Bon Bon!
